This brief introduction will describe the goals of the collaborative PHUSE project and how the following presentations describe research that will support the project. The planned phases of the PHUSE project will be described: Phase 1: Show and Tell – Project participants will present predictive modeling research that has been conducted using toxicology study data within their organizations; Phase 2: Share and Test – Open source components of these predictive modeling methods will be shared amongst participants and tested using data available to each participant; Phase 3: Collaborative Development – An open source suite of software tools that synergistically combine the best parts from all of the predictive modeling approaches will be developed to effectively apply predictive modeling approaches to SEND-formatted toxicology study data.
